Workshop to Enhance Resilience to Natural Hazards in our Community
April 9 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Thank you for your past interest and participation in the engagements surrounding the District’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Plan. On Wednesday, April 16th, the District will be hosting its second climate change adaptation workshop with local representatives from the agriculture sector, community associations, housing, business, environment, emergency management, health and more, and we would greatly appreciate your participation.
The workshop agenda will include updates on key project activities and facilitated discussions to support adaptation to climate change and continue building climate resilience in Central Saanich.
What you share will help us continue to develop the Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Plan. This plan and a companion Mental Health Resiliency Strategy will lay out a path for our community to continue building climate resilience.
Pinna Sustainability and Shift Collaborative will be supporting staff to deliver the workshop.
Your input is important. If you have a conflict, please invite someone to participate on your behalf.
